Starring Monte Hale !!Newcomer Monte Hale, trying to get a job in western films, meets young Danny McCoy (Bobby Blake) and his sister Gloria (Adrian Booth) at the studio. Danny is trying to get his trick horse, “Pardner” into movies. Monte helps Danny by auditioning his horse but gets the job instead of Pardner. The director really likes Monte’s singing and begins to favor him over the picture’s true star, Rod Mason (John Dehner). Jealous of Monte’s success, Mason and his stooge Ace Hanlon (Fred Graham) sabotage Monte’s performance and injure Pardner. But Hale doesn’t take it for long and fights for his billing. Along the way Monte introduces Gloria to other studio Western stars, Roy Rogers, Allan Lane, Don Red Barry and Dale Evans.
